Intermittent Updates and Blather
The Blog of C. H. Knyght
I just wanted to throw out a quick reminder that Nightvision will be free for download from Amazon Jan. 1st and 2nd. Last one for the season! Get it here!
As for progress updates, I'm still inch-worming my way through the first draft of "Dawn's Blessing" With the lack of pressure from NaNoWriMo and the holidays, I've slowed down from a couple thousand words a day to a couple hundred, but I am still going. Doing my best to write on it every single day.
For a Christmas gift to my followers, I am making Nightvision Twilight Shadows free for kindle download on Dec. 25-26th and Jan 1-2.
I hope you all have a blessed holiday season, whatever your celebrations, that your days are filled with
magic, peace, family and friends.
Today, I decided to experiment and adjusted the pricing on the paperback copy of Nightvision Twilight Shadows. It is now $10.99 on Amazon, and $9.99 in my storenvy shop, where you can get it signed!
Order now to get it in time for Christmas! A great gift for your favorite fantasy reader, or yourself. I won't judge. ;)
So as an artist I also have a store on Storenvy, a site for small businesses. I have uploaded Nightvision Twilight Shadows, so that it is available as a signed copy there. ;)
Gift it to a friend or give yourself a treat for the holidays.
BIG HOLIDAY SALE!! All 3 “Of Words” paperbacks (AMOW, AJOW, AHOW) are discounted $5 off their regular price throughout the month of December (1-31). Use promo code: OFWORDS at checkout to get the sale price and you’ll also get a free companion soundtrack CD!! My first published story “The Last” is in the anthology “A Haunting of Words”
Nightvision Twilight Shadows had a great online launch party yesterday! I hope that the local party at the library on Sat. has a similar turnout! It is all about building the reader base and finding the niche.
When i get a chance to put my head back on straight I will sit down and make a checklist for future launch parties. Pintrest was a good resource but it took a lot of hunting and different searches. I gathered ideas and then ran with them in a themed direction for my book. This is one of my favorite pieces from it all.
Says the first reviewer of Twilight Shadows. My novel has its first review, and it got FIVE stars. If you follow my facebook page you already know this, but I am absolutely over the moon. It makes me grin every time I think about it. I am beyond excited. My only complaint about it is the fact that I saw it posted just as I was finishing up my Nanowrimo stint for the other night, and it was already late even for night-owl me, I was so instantly excited I couldn't sleep. lol I think it was about 2 am before I was able to crash. I am honored to have received such a beautiful and detailed review.
You can read the whole review on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Nightvision-Twilight-Shadows-Mothers-Realm/dp/1542328403/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1511818903&sr=8-1
On other less exciting news, I am 8k away from finishing Nanowrimo and hopefully the first, super-rough draft of Nightvision: Dawn's Blessings. As soon as my head is back on straight after this free-fall of a month, I will start on revisions of Midnight Sands. I think I might pass out for a week first, maybe two.
Happy Holidays Everyone.
Spent the day finding themed items for the local launch party and swag bags. Found even more than I was hoping for which means it’s all going to be really cool. ☺️☺️☺️ Cool decor, stickers, special bookmarks, and stuff. I have a plan! I’m so excited.
I have an facebook launch party on the 6th. There will be multiple indie authors to meet and digital prizes.
I am so excited to share my first book with you. It is available now on Amazon!
There is a darkness spreading across the land, war. A war none were prepared to face, or stop. Living in a land of relative peace, none of the ruling shifter families command armies, so when one of their own turn against them, one by one they fall into his enslavement.
Dante, a prince struggling to uphold the weight of his father's crown, is happy slinking about in his wolf form and avoiding the disapproving glares of his council. When Nakai begs him for sanctuary, she brings with her tales of the darkest magic as mad royal wields it in a wave of bloodshed. Together, can they find a way to stop the serpent prince before he poisons the magic of their homes?
